Third Wednesday of Every Month

Local 275 Union Hall

Being involved in a VOC is a great way to meet other Brothers and Sisters in the Carpenters union, learn more about the construction industry, and help increase the effectiveness of the union.  Carpenters Local 275 Covers 13 cities and towns in and around the Natick Area, based in Newton they volunteer each year for things Like Newton Serves Dollars Against Diabetes street collection, golf tournament and Motorcycle Ride for Children’s Hospital Boston, Waltham facility for research for children suffering from diabetes.  We also participated in the Boston Heart Walk for the American Heart Association, and Natick Days.

VOC EVENTS 2010!

The Cancer Relay for Life will be held at the Natick football field on Saturday May 22nd anyone interested in attending please see Bruce Whitney.

Our Diabetes Drive collection will be held on Saturday June 19th please set this date aside, this is our longest and biggest charitable event, each year with well over 100 participants volunteering to find a cure for children’s diabetes. The annual Diabetes Drive golf tournament will again be held at the Wayland Country club on Friday June 25th

We have two events scheduled for Saturday September 11th 2010 Natick days organized by Bruce Whitney.  Please volunteer to help with the event of your choice.

I thank you all for everything you do for our VOC, with the economy and the loss of work we need to be even more aggressive and turn work over to union carpenters in every city & town in our local and voc by attending city and town meetings and getting involved in your communities.  For Information on Volunteering and helping out at some of our local events please contact: Richard Scales, Chairman Local 275 VOC
